Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong, has continued with his philanthropic gesture of presenting his widow’s mite of PPEs to some frontline agencies, assisting in the fight against the novel coronavirus in Ghana.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong made a donation of some personal protective equipment comprising 3,000 nose mask, 200 N95, 1,000 gloves, and 12 bundles of tissues to the 37 military hospital at a short presentation ceremony in Accra. The donation is to assist the health center to help protect the health workers from the outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to Hon Kennedy Agyapong, he is working with the management of the 37 Military Hospital to build a cardio-thoracic centre. He made this known to the media after the presentation ceremony,

Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the commander at the hospital, Ing Brig Gen Nii Adjah Obodai on his part thanked Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for his kind gesture and also promised the items would be put to the use for which it had been acquired.

It will be recalled, the Member of Parliament, made similar donations of some personal protective equipment to some major establishments and medical institutions like Jubilee House, Ridge, National Security and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital which received 5,000 nose masks and 3,000 gloves.
