Hulk Hogan dead at 71 after ‘suffering cardiac arrest at home’

Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan, aged 71, was discovered dead in his Clear water, Florida home on Thursday morning. Emergency services, including both police and paramedics, responded to a 911 call that mentioned a cardiac arrest, but despite their efforts, he could not be revived.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, had recently been recovering at home from a neck fusion surgery performed in May. While there were alarming rumors about his health—claiming he was unable to speak, comatose, or on his deathbed—those claims were firmly denied by his wife, Sky Daily, and other close associates.

A medical team reportedly moved him from the house to an ambulance via stretcher during the emergency response . The official cause of death is currently listed as cardiac arrest, following complications from his recent surgery, though local authorities and his spokesperson have yet to provide further details

Hogan rose to global fame as the face of WWE during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is survived by his third wife, Sky Daily, and two children, Brooke and Nick Hogan.
