Ghana and India will soon partner and collaborate to tackle the issue of sanitation in Ghana.
This was disclosed during when the India high commissioner to Ghana Sugandh Rajaram paid a courtesy call on the Sanitation Minister, Cecilia Abena Dapaah and her team at the ministry of sanitation and water resources, on Monday in Accra.

The India Ambassador to Ghana who admitted that, although India has not fully tackled the fight of sanitation on its own, it has over the last five years witnessed a significant change in terms of technological investment in waste management and segregation.

Cecilia Abena Dapaah on her part, shared Ghana’s experience in the fight on sanitation, laying emphasis on the major challenge facing the country especially water bodies, and the illegal miners operators.

The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, also touched on the deadly coronavirus which is making life unbearably globally and advised all to practice personal hygiene regularly.

The two countries have enjoyed a long standing bilateral relations over decades, in areas of education, trade, agribusiness among others.
