Information Minister Calls On Ghanaians Not To Panic As Authorities Are Dealing With The Two Reported Cases

The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has called on Ghanaians not to panic because the authorities are dealing with the two reporter cases.

He said what is happening now is contact tracing to ensure that anyone who had been in contact with any of the two patients will be examined and of possible will be quarantined for observation.

Hon.Oppong Nkrumah said the disease had just been detected in the country and everything is being done to contain it from spreading.

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah advised the people of Ghana to ensure that the precautionary measures which have been given by the health authorities are adhered to.

He said all the numbers that have been given out as emergency numbers must be used by all those who either have or seen the symptoms.
