The minister of interior, Muntaka Muhammad, has paid a working visit to the national police headquarters to discuss ways to make Ghana Police Service better.
Muntaka Mohammed assures the police management board of government commitment to improving the peace and security in the country.
According to him,the NDC manifesto has a comprehensive plan to critically review the entire national security architecture and comprehensively implement reform to ensure professionalism.
He opined that the reforms would focus on equipping all the security agencies to effectively execute their mandate towards ensuring well-being, personal safety, and security in the country.
The Asawase lawmaker commended the police administration led by the inspector general police on the uplift of the National police headquarters, adding the impression about police have begun to change positively.
“TO our Ghanaian officers who put their lives on the line day and night, I say thank you very much for the dedication to duty and for your commitment,”he added.
The Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akufo Dampare thanked the sector minister for minister for sharing his vision with the police management board(POMAB)
To him,it has always been a tradition for sector ministers to visit agencies under the ministry,we
are privileged to have him today.

mandate.
