The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has honored Samuel Aboagye, one of eight victims of the military helicopter crash on August 6.

At his state funeral on August 15, a NADMO representative described him as a dedicated and promising leader whose humility and warmth made a lasting impact. Aboagye, who briefly served as Deputy Director-General for Protocol, was remembered for his positivity, approachability, and the inspiration he brought to colleagues.

He was also the NDC’s 2024 parliamentary candidate for Obuasi East.
