The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) aspirant in the Adentan constituency in the Greater Accra Region has urged her constituents to unite through games as Elections 2024 approaches.
Mrs Manu made the above statement in Accra over the weekend during the launch of a 16-team community football gala. The event aims to unearth hidden talents within the Adentan community and its environs whilst promoting youth development and talent identification.
Scheduled to kick off on Saturday, July 13th, and conclude on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, the 2-day football gala will take place at the Adentan Manmomo AstroTurf. The tournament is expected to draw participants and spectators from various neighbourhoods in the Greater Accra Region.
Both Akyireba Business Group and Akosua Asaa Manu expressed their commitment to supporting grassroots sports development and providing a platform for young footballers to showcase their skills. This initiative aligns with their vision to empower the youth and contribute to the overall growth and well-being of the community.
