Liverpool and Man City compete for Leverkusen’s Frimpong

Liverpool and Manchester City are both looking to secure the signing of Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

Reports suggest Frimpong has a “gentlemen’s agreement” with Leverkusen, allowing him to leave for approximately €40 million if a suitable offer is received this summer. With Liverpool and City both keen, a bidding war could be on the horizon for the highly-rated defender.
