Saturday morning, the Philadelphia-born rapper turned to the social networking platform formerly known as Twitter, asking his fans whether he’s famous in other countries, notably Africa.
An apparently benign inquiry… Meek is probably not well-versed in how other nations and cultures consume music, but the internet had no compassion and constantly lambasted him.
Meek was brutally attacked for this post, with many presumably calling him out for implying that Africa isn’t technologically sophisticated.
Mill, on the other hand, isn’t letting the haters affect him. He followed up that tweet with another, claiming he’s trying to figure out where his African fans are so he can put on a performance for them.
He recently recorded a new album with Rick Ross and was moved to tears during the signing of a probation reform law in Philadelphia last month. He’s living a genuine life, no cap.
