Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson is scheduled to present the 2024 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament today, July 24, 2025.

This presentation, in line with Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921), will provide an update on the implementation of the 2025 Budget. It will highlight the government’s economic and fiscal performance during the first half of the year.

The review is also expected to propose adjustments to fiscal strategies in response to changing economic conditions—particularly in the areas of revenue mobilization, public spending, debt management, and structural reforms.

Additionally, Dr. Forson is expected to provide updates on key macroeconomic indicators such as inflation and exchange rate developments, and indicate whether Ghana is on course to meet its revenue targets by the end of the year.
