MTN Ghana Inks $2 Million Sponsorship Deal as Main Sponsor for Black Stars and Three Other National Teams

MTN Ghana has entered into a $2 million sponsorship agreement with four of the country’s national football teams.

The deal, officially unveiled on Wednesday, will see the telecom giant provide support to the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Meteors, and Black Satellites as they gear up for upcoming competitions.

During the signing ceremony, MTN Ghana CEO Stephen Blewett highlighted the company’s dedication to advancing football in Ghana.

“This investment reflects our strong commitment to the growth of football in the country. We’re confident it will not only enhance the performance of our national teams but also motivate young talent nationwide,” he said.

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku welcomed the sponsorship, describing it as a much-needed boost for the teams.

“This partnership comes at a critical time as our teams prepare for major tournaments. We believe it will bring positive outcomes,” Okraku noted.
