The Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Hon. Osei Asibey Antwi, has called on the 2024/2025 batch of national service personnel to accept their postings and willingly serve in areas where their services are most needed. He made this statement during a media engagement while visiting registration centers in the Ashanti Region, including the Kumasi Jubilee Park, KNUST Campus, and the National Service Secretariat in Adum, Kumasi.

For his part, the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Service Scheme, Mr Prince Kankam Boadu, revealed that they are expecting around 18,000 personnel from both private and public tertiary institutions to register for postings across various workplaces in the region.

Mr. Prince Kankam Boadu also announced that the National Service Scheme has partnered with GhanaPay to streamline payment processes for service personnel, a move aimed at resolving the issue of delayed allowances.
