NLA Partners Atta Mills Institute To Commission School and Cassava Mill Factory In Gonten

The National Lottery Authority and the Atta Mills foundation through partnership have commissioned a classroom block which was given a face-lift through the partnership and commissioned a cassava mill factory to save the Gonten community from traveling miles to cassava mill factories.

According to the founder and CEO of the Atta Mills Institute, Mr. Koku Anyidoho, this project is termed as a covenant project which seeks to bring some relief to the people of Gonten within the Kpone Katamanso constituency.

According to the Founder of AMI, the legacy of President Mills ought to be preserved hence the decision by the Institute to always reach out to the less privileged on July 21 since its inception in 2019.

He further hinted that the AMI will Embark On a series of projects across the country which according to him will bring a huge developmental impact to the youth and nation at large.

On his part, the Director-General of the National Lottery Authority, Mr. Samuel Awuku expressed the NLA’s content in partnering with the Atta Mills Institute since the project falls in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility.

He further has hinted that the national Lottery Authority will in 2022 and beyond support and invest in youth and sports, education, health arts, and culture as a means of an impact project through its good courses foundation.

On paying winners on the NLA lottery through mobile money, the Director-General hinted that the official launch will take place in February 2022, with further details and directions announced at the event.
