Obaatanpa Kate Gyamfua Cautions Young Women Against The Wrong Use Of Social Media

The National Women Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Madam Kate Gyamfua took it upon herself to lead Miss Dorcas, a leader of one of the emerging female volunteer groups operating within the New Patriotic Party to render an unqualified apology to the Honourable Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong for using unprintable words against him last week.

Obaatanpa Kate Gyamfua, being the current mother of the party, thought it worthy to make sure that the needful is done and respect is given to whom it is due.

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong accepted the apology in good faith But admonished the youth of today to be mindful of their utterances and write ups on social media which could damage the hard won reputation of others.

Obaatanpa, thanked Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for his kind gesture and also took the opportunity to advise the youth of the party to refrain from using Offensive/abusive language or write-ups/posts on social media because such behaviour does not augur well for the party, especially in this election year. She rather encouraged them to focus on trumpeting the many good policies of the government such as Free Senior High School which is being enjoyed by every household in Ghana.

Finally Madam Kate Gyamfua took the opportunity to touch on NPP National Women’s Wing 2020 campaign slogan ”We Care” which is aimed at;

  1. Reminding Ghanaians on the tremendous and overwhelming projects and policies NPP’s administration led by His Excellency Nana Addo Danqua Akufo- Addo has accomplished within this shortest period of time
  2. Encouraging healthy living in the wake of the novel Corona virus and beyond
