Parliament Eulogizes Past And Present Hardworking MPs

Members of Parliament for today acknowledged past and present MPs for their hard work and positive contributions towards national development.

This follows a statement made on the floor by Deputy Majority leader and MP for Efutu Alexander Afenyo Markin commending some past members of Parliament like Hon Ben Kumbour, Hon Doe Adjaho, Hon Adjei Mensah, Hon Sallas Tetteh, Hon Kan Dapaah, Hon J.H. Mensah, Hon E.T Mensah, Hon Kwabena Adjei and many others who contributed immensely in the discharge of their work when they were in Parliament.

Mr Afenyo went on to commend some current MPs for their hard work in making sure that, the 8th Parliament carries its duty as expected. Some of these current MPs include Hon Minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu, Hon. Majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Hon Muntaka Mubarak Muhammad, and many others who currently work as MPs in the 8th Parliament.

The Deputy leader used the opportunity to wish the former member of Parliament for New Juabeng South, Dr. Mark Assibey Yeboah who was also the chairman of the finance committee when he was an MP.

Some Members of Parliament also contributed to the statement, such as Hon Member of Parliament for Asawase and Minority Chief Whip, Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak Muhammad, Hon MP for Odododiodio, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, Hon member of Parliament for Nsawam Addoagyiri and Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor Dompreh and many others.
