President Akufo- Addo says his government will continue to help fashion a good environment to help the youth to thrive with their businesses.
Speaking at the season three of the Presidential Pitch in Accra, he called on the young entrepreneurs to take advantage of the numerous government initiatives under the Ministry of Development in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) that seeks to assist young people to come up with creative ideas that can be developed into businesses.
President, Nana Akufo-Addo noted that, his government believes Entrepreneurship is a vital component of economic transformation and the youth Entrepreneurship program is meant to address the unemployment rate among the youth in Ghana.
According to him, 26 thousand young entrepreneurs are currently being trained across the country under the Ministry of Business Development .
The overall winner of this year’s Presidential Pitch receive a GHC 70,000 plus a personal donations of Ghc30,000 from the President of the republic, Nana Akufo-Addo.
He added that, the overall winner will also be attached.
