The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, says if benevolent, charity and good intent would have transformed Africa, it would have done a long time ago.
Its time now for Africans to take their own fate into our own hands by using Africa’s money for Africa’s development.
Speaking at the “Africa’s Money for African Development, a future beyond aid” the president said is a call to all to change our attitude, mindset and all towards our natural resource and towards ourselves.
He said all 30% of the world’s remained minerals are in Africa, above all we have the manpower and the most vibrant young economy in the whole world yet Africa remains the poorest in the world and this narratives must change. He further added that, time to build Africa on principles of democratic accountability is now.
