PSG keeping an eye on Man Utd’s Marcus Rashford

Paris Saint-Germain are weighing up whether to rekindle their interest in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports. And the 26-year-old has been urged to leave Old Trafford and reignite his career elsewhere just one year after extending his contract.

However, the United No. 10’s form has fallen off a cliff since committing his future to the club, failing to build on his career-best 2022/23 campaign, in which he scored 30 goals.

On Friday, he missed training through a claimed illness before it emerged that he had been spotted at Belfast nightclubs on Wednesday and Thursday.

Rashford missed United’s FA Cup fourth-round win at Newport County on Sunday before Ten Hag insisted that he was ill but admitted he was dealing with an internal matter.

Yesterday, United confirmed that Rashford had accepted responsibility for his actions and had returned to training ahead of Thursday’s Premier League trip to Wolves.

But his relationship with the fanbase and reportedly his team-mates has taken a hit, and PSG could look to take advantage by offering him an escape route.

According to i Sport, the Ligue 1 champions are considering whether to reignite their interest in Rashford this summer.

PSG could be searching for a Kylian Mbappe replacement if the Frenchman leaves the club for Real Madrid or elsewhere.

Rashford has suitors at the Parc des Princes, and United’s new INEOS decision-makers could decide to cash in at the start of a cultural reset at Old Trafford.
