The Chairman for the Jospong Group of Companies, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong has commended President Akufo-Addo for his vision of Re-Engineering and the De-Commissioning of the Kpone Landfill Sanitary site as he says it shows sign of true leadership.

According to him, the decision taken by the present to turn around the dumping site into a recreational center shows his good leadership qualities as he says it is appropriate.

He was speaking during the Re-Engineering and the De-Commissioning of the Kpone Landfill Sanitary site in Accra when the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources together with the Greater Accra Regional Minister took a tour of the facility.

Dr Siaw noted that, this exercise is the first of it kind to be handled by local contractors as he says it has given them enough experience to work on other landfill sites across the country as well.

He added that, the standard at which they are transforming the Site equals that’s of the USA sites as he says the projects will be completed by December which he calls in Ghanaians to help support the course.

The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah on her part also expressed enthusiasm over the work done by the contractors within the short space of time as she also urged Ghanaians to help partner the contractors to speed up the project.

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey assured of his support to the project as he says the project is a replica of Las Vegas in Kpone which he says will bring a facelift to the region as a whole.
