Salis Abdul Samed signs three-year contract with OGC Nice

Ghanaian midfielder Salis Abdul Samed has signed a three-year deal with French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The 25-year-old joins after a loan spell at Sunderland, where he helped the club secure Premier League promotion but wasn’t signed permanently. Previously with RC Lens and Clermont Foot, Salis made 11 appearances for Sunderland.

He is expected to be a key player for Nice and may debut on August 16 against Toulouse at the Allianz Riviera.
