President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians to give the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, a one-touch victory in the December 7 polls.
According to President Akufo Addo, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is the competent and credible candidate to complete all his ongoing projects.
President Akufo-Addo made this statement at Drobonso during the commissioning of Sekyere Afram Plains District Hospital as part of his working visit to the region to officially commission four hospitals and other projects.
Speaking at a short ceremony, Nana Akufo-Addo described the former president as a failure who is coming to worry Ghanaians and destroy the country’s gains under the NPP administration, urging the electorate to vote against him.
President Akufo-Addo revealed that Agenda 111 is Dr. Bawumia’s initiative; thus, he is the best man to complete all the Agenda 111 hospitals, which are 70 percent complete at various stages in the country.

The President added that former President Mahama doubted the possibility of his flagship programs; therefore, he can’t hand over power to him to destroy his achievements.

The Ashanti regional minister, Hon. Simmon Osei Mensah, praised President Akufo-Addo for his commitment to improving healthcare delivery in the Sekyere Afram Plains and the Ashanti Region in general.

The Chief of Drobonso, Nana Dwabena Dankwa Dwibisaw, after thanking the president for the hospital project, pleaded with Nana Akufo Addo for more ancillary facilities.
He further drew the attention of the president to some of their challenges and appealed to the government for assistance.
