Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has responded strongly to a self-proclaimed prophet who claimed to have seen a vision of him being fatally shot by gunmen.
The prophet’s vision suggested that around ten armed men were chasing Shatta Wale in an attempt on his life. While the musician reportedly managed to evade the first attack, the prophecy further claimed he was later ambushed and killed by three other assailants.

The prophet also claimed that after escaping the first attack, Shatta Wale was seen on social media thanking God before the second, fatal encounter took place.
In a fiery online response, Shatta Wale condemned the prophet and other so-called men of God, accusing them of exploiting fear to manipulate the public and seek attention for personal gain. He expressed frustration over what he described as a troubling trend of false prophecies targeting celebrities to go viral and profit from public anxiety.
Shatta Wale also issued a firm ultimatum to the Ghana Police Service, demanding the arrest of the prophet within a week. He warned that if the matter was not addressed legally, his next course of action would serve as a “lesson to the country.”
This incident comes amid growing concern over controversial prophecies involving the lives of public figures. The Ghana Police Service has previously cautioned religious leaders against making unverified death prophecies, which could spark panic or disrupt public peace.
