Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential contender, has entreated Ghanaians abroad, especially in the United Kingdom, to urge NPP delegates in the upcoming November 4 presidential primaries of the party to vote for him as the presidential candidate of the NPP.
The Assin Central MP made the appeal at a fund-raising event in London, in the United Kingdom, organized by some of his supporters and well-wishers.
Hon. Ken Agyapong used the occasion to reiterate his economic policies, plans and programs and charged the audience that even though he was thankful for their act of support through the fund-raising exercise, he would plead with them to press on the delegates to choose him as the right candidate to bring back hope for the nation.
He repeated his pledge that his administration would be built on the principles of the PhD, where there would be no room for family and friends but rather patriotism, Honesty and discipline.
Hon. Ken Agyapong enumerated and explained some of his key economic policies and programs to the audience, urging them to support his candidature as he was the right man to do the required job of caring for the youth of the country.
The NPP on November 4 will go to the polls to elect its 4th presidential candidate in its history.
Hon Ken Ohene Agyapong, a six-term MP, who is number one on the ballot paper, will face off with incumbent vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, former Agric Minister, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto and former Mampong MP, Francis Addai Nimoh.
