SIGA Organizes Free Breast Screening Exercise And Education For Its Staff

The Director General of State Interest and Governance Authority ( SIGA) Amb. Edward Boateng and his management team have organized a free breast screening exercise and education for his staff as the world embarks on Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The exercise which took place at the Authority’s premises on Tuesday in Accra saw many of the highly enthusiastic female employees checking up for the various indicators of breast infections. However, the male employees were also not left out as the Occasion offered them the opportunity to check the condition of their prostrates.

According to Ambassador Boateng, the exercise focuses on the total wellness and welfare of his employees which forms part of the internal managerial arrangements and corporate agreements and urged all entities under SIGA to emulate this gesture.

He said a healthy mind is found in a healthy body and urged all public sector workers to exercise daily while undertaking constant medical checkups to know the status of their health and well-being.
