Tem Kotokoli Refutes Alleged Involvement In Killings In Nkwanta South Conflict

The Tem Kotokoli Ghana, one of the ethnic groups in the violent chieftancy and land dispute in the Nktwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region have dismissed claims of any involvement in connection with the killing of some 10 people and destruction of properties known in the area.

The ongoing renewed conflict between Adele, Challa and Akyode ethnic groups in the area has resulted in a 5pm-to-6am curfew as a joint team of police and military have been deployed to ensure law and order.

However, speaking at a press conference in Accra in responds to allegations by the Akyode Group of masterminding the attacks and killings in the area, Spokesperson of Tem Kotokoli, the Amankrado of Kue, Wuro Sakibu Akeko Afora stated the claims are unfounded and an attempt to discredit the group for its peace loving nature.
