Emergency Nurse at Suhum government hospital, Mr. Kwame Agyemang has confirmed that ten people have died so far as a result of an accident that occurred at ASUBOI in Ayensuano district yesterday Dawn.
He said out of the 10 people dead, 9 died at the spot and one died later at the hospital five males and five females.
Speaking to Isaac Ofori at the emergency unit at the Suhum government hospital, he noted apart from the 10 who were dead,33 people were brought to the hospital and most of them have been treated and discharged.CUE
Assemblyman for ASUBOI electoral area Hon Ebenezer Ahiawu said, accident on that particular stretch of the road is becoming on becoming and appealed to the MTTD officers to see to it that any broken vehicle on the road should be taken away immediately to avoid other occurrences.
