The President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Togbe Hodo IV, has expressed confidence in the vision and policies of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to transform Ghana.
Togbe Hodo IV was reacting to Dr. Bawumia’s presentation to the Volta Regional House of Chiefs on Thursday during a meeting at Ho, the Volta Regional capital, as part of the NPP flagbearer’s engagements on his campaign tour of the region.
Dr. Bawumia is visiting the Volta Region as part of his broader nationwide engagement with various stakeholders.
Togbe Hodo IV, also the Paramount Chief of Anfoega Traditional Area, stated that Dr. Bawumia’s delivery has the potential to move Ghana forward.
Urging the House and the nation to embrace Dr. Bawumia’s ideas, Togbe Hodo IV highlighted that the Vice President’s “progressive ideas” ought to be implemented for the country’s progress.

The Flagbearer of the NPP was also given a rousing welcome by traders and market women when his entourage stopped and interacted with traders at the Central Market at Ho.
Dr. Bawumia went through the Ho Central Market on foot, electrifying atmosphere as he exchanged greetings with the market folks.
The crowd swelled as many traders, particularly market women, approached to greet him.
As Dr. Bawumia navigated the market, exchanging pleasantries and interacting with traders, many requested his t-shirts and his handlers were happy to distribute them.
The arrival of the t-shirts, adorned with his picture and the bold inscription “It Is Possible,” caused a frenzy among traders and passersby.

Earlier Dr. Bawumia met with the Clergy, Imams, and Zongo Chiefs, and at separate meetings, where he also set out his vision and policies in detail to them and asked for their prayers and blessings.

As with all his regional tours, the NPP flag bearer wrapped up his tour, when he met various youth groups and stakeholders in the region, at the Ho Technical University.
