We Need To Be Disciplined – Hon. Kennedy Agyapong

Hon Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has reiterated the need for a disciplined society with citizens who can reflect the can-do spirit of the Ghanaian, in order to propel the country to greater heights.

The Assin Central Member of Parliament also disclosed that he has a well-thought-out plan for Ghana but as an MP he is limited to operationalizing them.

Hon Kennedy Agyapong made these remarks when he received the Ken Foundation and the Underground Campaign, Youth for the NPP in his office at Madina on Monday.

Led by Daakyehemmaa Special, the groups were at Kennedy Agyapong’s office to introduce themselves to the affable MP, who has made known his intention to contest the flag-bearer position of the New Patriotic Party for the presidential elections in December 2024.

In his response, Hon, Kennedy Agyapong expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the groups and revealed that he has been touched by their gesture and show of support. He also used the occasion to confirm his aspirations to lead the NPP going to the 2024 elections, highlighting the values of Patriotism, Honesty and Discipline, which will be his watchwords as he embarks on his campaign.

Kennedy Agyapong appealed to the groups to do well to spread his good works and philosophy. He also noted that the grassroots are his ‘Godfather’ in the party, emphasizing the need for hard work.

He also stated that most of his philanthropy was due to his love for humanity and not for his personal glory.

The Assin Central MP took the opportunity to highlight some of his objectives if given the chance to govern the nation, calling on all citizens to show love and patriotism for the country.

He called for a change in attitudes among the populace urging the need for all to be disciplined if the country is to be transformed.
