YOUTH CONFER AT LEGON: BE CITIZENS OF INNOVATION TO LEAD GHANA TO GREATER HEIGHTS – PIUS HADZIDE

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Youth Authority, Pius Enam Hadzide, has charged the youth of Ghana to be ambassadors of innovation, determination, and patriotism to propel the growth and development of the country to the heights it deserves.
He encouraged them to draw inspiration from the remarkable journey of South Korea and apply the same vigor towards the advancement and prosperity of themselves and the country.
The CEO of the NYA made the call during the 2023 National Youth Conference, dubbed “Reformed Youth, Reformed Ghana,” at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Mr. Enam Hadzide noted that the theme for the conference encapsulates the essence of the nation’s collective aspirations and commitment to steering Ghana towards a brighter future. In his view, it calls upon all citizens to reflect on the past, acknowledge present challenges, and collectively work toward reforming and improving the nation.


The Deputy Tourism Minister, Hon. Mark Okraku Mantey, commended the joint conference organizing committee of the NYA and IYF for their efforts in putting together such an elaborate program aimed at empowering the youth for constructive nation-building.

In his address, the Board Chairman of the National Youth Authority and MP for Amasaman, Hon. Akwasi Owusu Afrifa-Mensah, stressed the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial spirit among Ghana’s youth and fostering a culture of innovation.
He urged the youth to be strong, as they hold the key to unlocking a brighter tomorrow and possess the power to change the world and build a brighter future for Mother Ghana.
