EMY Africa Unveils Exclusive Magazine At The Awards Issue XIIIP

EMY Africa has unveiled its latest masterpiece: a captivating magazine that delves into the journeys of extraordinary individuals.

Adorning the cover is none other than the esteemed Man of the Year 2023, Alex Apau Dadey, an entrepreneurial luminary and the visionary founder of KGL Group.

The grand reveal took place amidst palpable excitement at KGL head office in Accra on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Within its glossy pages, readers will embark on a transformative journey, delving into the compelling narratives of Dadey and other distinguished EMY Africa Alumni.

Albert Chris Soboh, the esteemed Editor-in-Chief, sets the tone for this remarkable edition with poignant words, reminding readers of the enduring power of hope amidst the challenges that beset our world.

He invites readers to immerse themselves in a collection of human stories that serve as beacons of resilience and determination. “Given the fact that a lot of people stare into the year with trepidation and barely a whiff of enthusiasm — mostly due to the hopelessness around the world and the global economic downturn – it’s important to remind ourselves that hope still persists. “I am therefore delighted to present to you a collection of human stories that bring the concept of striving onto belief.

This issue is anything but pale and half-hearted. We bring to you stories that have been enthralling to piece together and will be all that and more to read. “First up is our cover star. Man of the Year, Alex Apau Dadey’s story is a parable for fledglings – young people who seek positive influences in their lives, or who seek those carrying a message of hard work, honesty, dedication and kindness. “Alex Dadey has through his projects and deeds emerged the quintessential gentleman to whom others look up to. A world without the qualities he possesses would spin ever so slowly, and I encourage you to turn to his article to find out how he turned out to be the man that he is,” says Soboh.

In a stirring address, Alex Apau Dadey reflected on the honor bestowed upon him as Man of the Year, articulating his vision for shaping the landscape of corporate Ghana.

He stressed the pivotal role of wealth creation in the fight against poverty, emphasizing that true progress stems from the innovation and dynamism of the private sector. “It is the mission to redefine the concept of wealth as a vehicle for socio-economic transformation for our nation and continent, leaving a legacy of shared prosperity for all Ghanaians,” he said.

“It has always been my belief that wealth creation is pivotal to eradicating poverty. Governments do not create wealth; the private sector does… This belief has spearheaded my vision to not only help build but also inspire the next Ghanaian leaders who need the right role models to emulate,” he added.

The unveiling ceremony was graced by the presence of an illustrious array of personalities, including esteemed politicians Nana Akomea and Sammy Awuku, as well as luminaries from the world of entertainment such as KOD, Dentaa Amoateng, Kafui Danku, Abeiku Santana, and Bill Asamoah, among others.
