Scott Evans To Perform At This Year’s Ghana Music Awards UK And MOG’s New Wine Concert This Weekend

Scott Evans will be performing at this year’s Ghana Music Awards UK and MoG’s self-curated “New Wine” concert, the organizers announce.

The sensational urban-Gospel singer will perform at the 6th installment of one of Ghana’s most attended people’s choice awards schemes in the diaspora, which is scheduled for Saturday at 7 pm at The Royal Regency, London. Meanwhile, the “Ma Pe Ke” hitmaker has received nominations for “Best New Artiste” and “Gospel Song of the Year.”

On Sunday (October 30), he will join other gospel artistes, including award-winning artiste Diana Hamilton and Joyce Blessing, billed for this year’s New Wine Concert. The event is organized by celebrated Ghanaian Gospel minister, MoG Music, and allows attendees to express their gratitude to God for His protection.

He added that he believes the United Kingdom has a good market for music and a great audience. ‘Performing there is going to give me a big mileage and audience as well. Being in the music scene professionally 4 years and never seeing myself leaving to work in the UK, it’s good news for me and my team’ he said.

Scott Evans has established himself as Ghana’s most influential urban gospel singer in the nearly five years since he first gained mainstream recognition with his hit single “Ma Pe Ke”, which has surpassed the 1 million streams mark on YouTube.
