The EGOT award winner and Don Lemon had an exclusive chat earlier this week on Don Lemon’s YouTube channel. Goldberg discussed her new book, “Bits and Pieces: My Mother, My Brother, and Me,” with Lemon. The celebrated actress also shared her opinions on marriage, stating that she would rather “hit and run” than be in a committed relationship.
“Hit and runs are great. I don’t mind those. But you can’t spend the night,” Goldberg said.
The “Color Purple” actress went on to say that she doesn’t want to be married and doesn’t have time to pursue partnerships at this moment. Additionally, Goldberg said that having fun with “hit and runs” does not make you a horrible person. “I’m at the point in my life where I want to see you when I see you, and then you go.”
Goldberg has previously been open about her past relationships and dating experiences. As previously reported by TSR, the talk show presenter disclosed that a former romantic partner of hers was, in fact, “40 years older” than she was. Goldberg made the startling remark during a March edition of “The View,” according to ET.
